Superb Gwaldam

If you feel bore in your fast and hectic life and want a nice place with peace & calm nature then go to Gwaldam of Uttarakhand. This place is unlike other tourist spot where tourists are seen every where and you are only a part of the outsiders.

Only 3 good hotels ( including GMVN bunglow) are there and among them I find the Trishul is the best for lodging. They charged us Rs.600/- per day ( the photo of the rooms given above).
Though they can serve the Snacks/tea in your room but for lunch/dinner go to  "Hotel Chandan".

 Mr. Chandan's( mobile number - 9411179065 / 87555049465) behaviour & welcoming nature is nice and his hotel is always full of customers.

 If you want to see the sites like Badhangadi, Bedni bugyal etc. you may request Mr. Chandan to call the guide Tularam Ariya or his son to assist you.

 A State Bank branch is there and a ATM too,but the ATM may not work always as I experienced, so better to carry your SBI cheque book with you ( if you are a SBI account holder), you require money over there. People are good and honest. You may call Mr Haish Bist ( mobile number - 9997892615) to hire a car. I still remember his pleasing  attitude. 

Overall I have enjoyed the stay at Gwaldam due to it's peaceful atmosphere. Add this place in your tour plan and I know you will love the place.
